Vision insurance

Our team works closely with vision insurance providers to help you understand and use your coverage effectively. We submit claims securely and electronically, and we’re always available to explain your vision plan’s allowances, co-pays, and any out-of-pocket costs. We currently accept:

Medical Insurance & Coordinated Benefits

In certain situations, your eye exam or treatment may be covered by medical insurance rather than vision insurance. This often applies when you’re being seen for a medical concern such as eye disease, injury, inflammation, or medication monitoring.

When appropriate, our team can coordinate your vision and medical benefits to help maximize coverage and reduce out-of-pocket costs.

Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts

Illinois Eye Associates accepts FSA and HSA payments for eligible services and products, including eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, and many medical eye care services. Here’s what to know:

  • FSA funds are typically “use-it-or-lose-it” and must be used by December 31.

  • HSA funds do not expire and can roll over from year to year.

  • FSAs and HSAs can often be used alongside vision insurance to help cover out-of-pocket costs.

Other Payment Options

Our team is committed to giving you and your family the best. From managing common eye conditions to offering advanced care, we’re here to ensure your vision stays sharp and your eyes stay healthy, no matter your stage of life.

Cash & checks

We accept traditional payment methods, including cash and checks.

credit cards

You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover at the time of your visit.

CareCredit

Need to split your payments over time? CareCredit is a healthcare financing option that lets you pay for your care in manageable monthly installments.
